What do you always bring while exploring?  My knife!

KK is the daredevil of the family and you should never ask “do you want to try this?” unless you are really ok with him doing it.  His answer will ALWAYS be “Yes”.  He can find joy in exploring the smallest spaces.  I suspect I’ll get postcards from Antartica when he’s an adult.

Favorite outdoor activities: Boogie Boarding, Mountain Biking and Skiing 

Least favorite outdoor activities:  Hiking 

Favorite Adventure Memory:

Alex - age 13

Favorite Outdoor Activites: Swim, kayaking (in good weather), rock climbing, skiing, surfing and hiking 

Least favorite outdoor activity:  Being outdoors without allergy meds 

Favorite adventure memory:  Boogie boarding at the beach and the tide was coming in and the waves were great.  It was a great day of waves and afterwards we went and had fries at Ruby’s.  It was just a great day that had a great glow to it. 

Favorite adventure snacks: that cookie brownie bar we had when snowshoeing, Clif bars, dehydrated bananas, and pita chips with hummus
